The Sweetwater Mustangs basketball squad (Sweetwater, TX), was crushed 63-34 in Friday's league battle with the host Jim Ned Indians (Tuscola, TX)

With the victory, Jim Ned advances its record to 26-2 on the year. The Indians travel to Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 3A Region I District 6 battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 4-18. Grape Creek lost 76-26 in their recent league battle against Wall (Wall, TX)

The Mustangs now own a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy for a 3A Region I District 6 outing on Tuesday, January 28.
