The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA) and the host Orient-Macksburg Bulldogs (Orient, IA), observed Lamoni's basketball team knock off Orient-Macksburg by a score of 48-36.

The Demons (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Mohawks come into the Bluegrass challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Moravia prevailed over Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA), 47-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Murray Mustangs (Murray, IA) in a Bluegrass challenge, on Monday, January 27. Orient-Macksburg will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 58-28 league win over Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA).
