Nevada High School Basketball - Las Vegas defeats Valley

The Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV) basketball were winner over the visiting Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV), 55-40 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Desert Oasis for a 5A Southern bout on Wednesday, January 29. Las Vegas will play a Diamondbacks team coming off a 64-18 non-league win over Silverado (Las Vegas, NV). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Valley falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV) to play the Desert Shields in a 4A Sky bout on Monday, January 27. The Desert Shields go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Cheyenne lost 58-9 in their recent league bout against Somerset Academy Losee (North Las Vegas, NV)
