In Friday's non-league contest, the host Lee's Summit Tigers basketball team scored a big 55-15 triumph over the Truman Patriots.
The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty North (Liberty, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Liberty North smashed Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO), 53-51, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Belton Pirates (Belton, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Truman will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 2-11 record after their 53-21 non-league win over Ruskin (Kansas City, MO).
