The Weatherford Kangaroos basketball squad (Weatherford, TX), was crushed 69-43 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Mansfield Legacy Broncos (Mansfield, TX)

With the victory, Mansfield Legacy advances its record to 21-12 on the year. The Broncos host Boswell (Fort Worth, TX) to meet the Pioneers in a 6A Region I District 3 battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Pioneers enter the battle with a record of 31-2. Boswell won 91-19 in their recent league battle against Crowley (Crowley, TX)

The Kangaroos now own a 18-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Crowley for a 6A Region I District 3 battle on Friday, January 31. Weatherford will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 57-44 league win over Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 22-8.
