The Walnut Ridge Bobcats basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Marmaduke Greyhounds to 29 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats now have a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Newport for a 3A Region 3 game on Monday, January 27. Walnut Ridge will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 63-56 league loss to Rivercrest (Wilson, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Marmaduke falls to 9-18 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR) to confront the Warriors in a 2A Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 15-8. East Poinsett County won 62-30 in their recent league game against Piggott (Piggott, AR)
