Pennsylvania High School Basketball - South Fayette routs Montour

In Friday's league contest, the host South Fayette Lions basketball team scored a big 79-33 win over the Montour Spartans.
The Lions (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Tigers come into the WPIAL 5A 3 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Moon Area was trounced by Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA), 44-33, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 contest, on Monday, January 27. Montour will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Fightin' Planets come into the contest with a 10-7 record after their 53-44 league win over West Allegheny (Imperial, PA).
