The Tomahawk Hatchets basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Northland Pines Eagles to 39 in the Hatchets league triumph on Friday.

The Hatchets now have a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chequamegon for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Tomahawk will confront a Screaming Eagles team coming off a 44-39 non-league loss to Newman (Wausau, WI). The Screaming Eagles record now stands at 2-13.

With the loss, Northland Pines falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Crandon (Crandon, WI) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 12-3.
