Washington High School Basketball - Overlake nips University Prep

In Friday's league contest, the host Overlake Owls basketball team scored a close 42-38 win over the University Prep Pumas.
The Owls (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against South Whidbey (Langley, WA). The Falcons come into the 1A Emerald Sound contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, South Whidbey was tipped by Bush (Seattle, WA), 46-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Pumas battle the Northwest House (Seattle, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound contest, on Saturday, January 25. University Prep will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The House go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 40-27 league loss to South Whidbey (Langley, WA).
