In Friday's league contest, the visiting Paw Paw Red Wolves basketball team scored a good 70-61 triumph over the Sturgis Trojans.

The Red Wolves (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI). The Maroon Giants go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Kalamazoo Central was topped by Central (Battle Creek, MI), 44-41, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans confront the Harper Creek Beavers (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Sturgis will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Beavers go into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 60-42 league loss to Marshall (Marshall, MI).
