The Pleasanton Eagles nipped the visiting Somerset Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 48-43 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Eagles face the Pearsall Mavericks (Pearsall, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 27 outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Pleasanton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-15 season record. The Mavericks enter the outing with a 1-16 record after their 36-33 league loss to Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX).
The Bulldogs (7-23) will now prepare for their outing against Devine (Devine, TX). The Warhorses enter the 4A Region IV District 27 outing with a 22-9 record. In their last outing, Devine got by Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX), 61-36, in a league outing.
