The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Sotomayor Wolves (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Torres Toros (Los Angeles, CA), observed Sotomayor's basketball team overwhelm Torres by a score of 41-14.

The Wolves (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Marquez (Huntington Park, CA). The Gladiators come into the Southern challenge with a 11-7 record. In their last challenge, Marquez trounced Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA), 53-25, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Toros encounter the Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA) in a Southern challenge, on Monday, January 27. Torres will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 54-16 league win over Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA).
