Michigan High School Basketball - Wayne Memorial nips Stevenson

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Wayne Memorial Zebras basketball team scored a close 60-53 triumph over the Stevenson Spartans.
The Zebras (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Hoban nipped St. Joseph Academy (Cleveland, OH), 65-32, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Glenn Rockets (Westland, MI) in a Kensington Lakes - East contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Stevenson will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Rockets go into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 48-24 league loss to Franklin (Livonia, MI).
