The Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX), 93-28 in Friday's league bout.

The Thunderbirds now possess a 26-3 record. They play next when they travel to Smithson Valley for a 5A Region IV District 26 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Wagner will play a Rangers team coming off a 62-49 league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 9-21.

With the loss, Veterans Memorial falls to 6-24 on the campaign. The Patriots host Tivy (Kerrville, TX) to play the Antlers in a 5A Region IV District 26 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Antlers go into the bout with a record of 16-11. Tivy lost 53-41 in their recent league bout against Wagner (San Antonio, TX)
