The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) and the visiting Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), observed South County's basketball team knock off Lake Braddock by a score of 35-26.

The Stallions (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, West Potomac prevailed over West Springfield (Springfield, VA), 27-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bruins encounter the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Lake Braddock will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 27-23 league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA).
