The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH) and the host Shaker Heights Red Raiders (Shaker Heights, OH), witnessed University School's ice hockey team defeat Shaker Heights by a final score of 6-0.

The Preppers (13-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Ramblers come into the non-league challenge with a 18-9 record.

In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Holy Name Green Wave (Parma Heights, OH) in a Great Lakes Hockey League challenge, on Sunday, January 26. Shaker Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 11-13 season record. The Green Wave come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 8-1 league loss to Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH).
