Michigan High School Basketball - Berkley can't hold off Pontiac

Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Berkley Bears (Berkley, MI), 51-50 in a league match.

With the victory, Pontiac advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Phoenix travel to Oxford (Oxford, MI) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-0.

The Bears now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southfield Arts & Tech for a non-league match on Thursday, January 30.
