In Friday's non-league contest, the host Mariner Marauders basketball team scored a big 70-38 triumph over the Cascade Bruins.

The Marauders (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Stevens (Lake Stevens, WA). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Lake Stevens was trounced by Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA), 62-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bruins battle the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats (Everett, WA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Cascade will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 10-7 record after their 93-84 non-league win over Lynnwood (Bothell, WA).
