The Central Cabarrus Vikings basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting East Rowan Mustangs to 45 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to East Mecklenburg for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 29.

With the loss, East Rowan falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Carson (China Grove, NC) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 2-10.
