The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) and the visiting Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC), observed Christ the King's basketball team overcome Pine Lake Prep by a score of 62-46.

The Crusaders (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Raptors come into the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record.

In their next game, the Pride battle the Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Pine Lake Prep will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 43-41 league win over Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC).
