The Cosby Titans basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Powhatan Indians to 29 in the Titans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Titans now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Dale for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Cosby will confront a Knights team coming off a 44-20 non-league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA). The Knights record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Powhatan falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Manchester (Midlothian, VA) to confront the Lancers in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Lancers go into the game with a record of 8-0. Manchester won 73-41 in their recent non-league game against James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA)
