Elder Panthers (Cincinnati, OH) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host St. Xavier Bombers (Cincinnati, OH), 34-28 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Elder advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Panthers host Fairmont (Kettering, OH) to face the Firebirds in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Firebirds enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Bombers now own a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Salle for a non-league match on Friday, January 31.
