The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Granite Hills Grizzlies (Porterville, CA) and the visiting Strathmore Spartans (Strathmore, CA), observed Granite Hills's basketball team overwhelm Strathmore by a margin of 45-24.

The Grizzlies (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodlake (Woodlake, CA). The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Woodlake was trounced by Corcoran (Corcoran, CA), 40-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Orange Cove Titans (Orange Cove, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Strathmore will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record.
