North Carolina High School Basketball - South Caldwell bests Hibriten

The South Caldwell Spartans basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Hibriten Panthers to 41 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Watauga for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. South Caldwell will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 64-15 league win over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, Hibriten falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Freedom (Morganton, NC) to confront the Patriots in a game on Friday, January 31. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 12-3.
