In Friday's league contest, the visiting Highlands Scots basketball team scored a good 52-32 triumph over the San Juan Spartans.

The Scots (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Grizzlies go into the contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Golden Sierra topped Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA), 55-26, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Mesa Verde Mavericks (Citrus Heights, CA) in a contest, on Monday, January 27. San Juan will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Mavericks go into the contest with a 10-10 record after their 58-34 league loss to Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA).
