The Northwood Chargers basketball squad scored 52 points and held the host Jordan-Matthews Jets to 35 in the Chargers non-league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Northwood advances its record to 12-5 on the year. The Chargers host Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC) to meet the Stallions in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The Stallions enter the match with a record of 6-7. Southeast Alamance lost 44-37 in their recent league match against Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC)

The Jets now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Moore for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Jordan-Matthews will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 54-53 non-league loss to South Davidson (Denton, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-10.
