In Friday's league test, the Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) basketball squad got by the visiting Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA), by a score of 53-51.

Next, the Huskies clash with the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 25. Sheldon will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 17-3 record after their 50-27 league win over Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA).
