Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT), 61-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Whitehorse upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Raiders host Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ) to face the Redskins in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The Redskins enter the match with a record of 1-3.
The Buckaroo now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green River for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Monticello will face a Pirates squad coming off a 69-29 non-league win over Monument Valley (Monument Valley, UT). The Pirates record now stands at 12-4.
