North Carolina High School Basketball - Wheatmore holds off Randleman

The Wheatmore Warriors basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Randleman Tigers to 39 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now have a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity for a game on Tuesday, January 28. Wheatmore will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 52-48 non-league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Randleman falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 4-6. Eastern Randolph lost 64-45 in their recent non-league game against Grace Christian (Sanford, NC)
