California High School Basketball - Sequoia holds off San Mateo

In Friday's league contest, the host Sequoia Ravens basketball team scored a close 51-46 triumph over the San Mateo Bearcats.
The Ravens (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oceana (Pacifica, CA). The Sharks go into the contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Oceana was tipped by Capuchino (San Bruno, CA), 58-19, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bearcats confront the Westmoor Rams (Daly City, CA) in a contest, on Wednesday, January 29. San Mateo will attempt to better on its 3-15 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 5-10 record after their 48-41 non-league loss to Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA).
