The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) and the host South Kitsap Wolves (Port Orchard, WA), observed Sumner's basketball team overwhelm South Kitsap by a score of 66-44.
The Spartans (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Curtis (University Place, WA). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Curtis trounced Rogers (Puyallup, WA), 80-48, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. South Kitsap will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 16-0 record after their 60-54 non-league win over Puyallup (Puyallup, WA).
