North Carolina High School Basketball - Southwestern Randolph holds off Trinity

The Southwestern Randolph Cougars basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Trinity Bulldogs to 48 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now have a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Pleasant for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 25. Southwestern Randolph will confront a Tigers team coming off a 41-40 non-league win over Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC) in a contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Trinity will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 12-2 record after their 41-39 non-league win over Randleman (Randleman, NC).
