The Thunderbirds (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX). The Rangers come into the non-league challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Smithson Valley trounced New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX), 65-62, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Tivy Antlers (Kerrville, TX) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Veterans Memorial will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record.
