Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Golden Valley advances its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Merced (Merced, CA) to clash with the Bears in a test on Wednesday, January 29. The Bears come into the test with a record of 3-7.

The Thunder now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Banos for a test on Friday, January 31.
