The Liberty Lions edged the visiting Pittsburg Pirates soccer squad by a score of 2-1 in Friday's league outing.
The Lions (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Antioch (Antioch, CA). The Panthers go into the outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Antioch was edged by Freedom (Oakley, CA), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Pirates play the Emerald Aerouants (Dublin, CA) in a outing, on Friday, January 31. Pittsburg will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Aerouants go into the outing with a 4-11 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Heritage (Brentwood, CA).
