The Huskies (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Thundering Herd enter the battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Elk Grove tipped Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA), 7-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Franklin Wildcats (Elk Grove, CA) in a battle, on Monday, January 27. Monterey Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 13-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA).
