Fans at Friday's league battle between the Liberty Ranch Hawks (Galt, CA) and the host Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA), saw Liberty Ranch's soccer squad knock off Amador by a count of 3-0.

The Hawks (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against El Dorado (Placerville, CA). The Cougars enter the Sierra Valley Conference battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, El Dorado tipped Rosemont (Sacramento, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Buffaloes battle the Rosemont Wolverines (Sacramento, CA) in a Sierra Valley Conference battle, on Wednesday, January 29. Amador will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 4-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to El Dorado (Placerville, CA).
