Fans at Friday's league battle between the Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA) and the host Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA), saw Pioneer's soccer squad knock off Branham by a count of 3-0.

The Mustangs (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Westmont (Campbell, CA). The Warriors enter the BVAL - Mt. Hamilton battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Westmont tipped Leigh (San Jose, CA), 6-3, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bruins battle the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton battle, on Wednesday, January 29. Branham will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Longhorns enter the battle with a 7-2 record after their 6-3 league loss to Westmont (Campbell, CA).
