Jones Trojans (Beeville, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX), 2-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Jones moves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Bishop (Bishop, TX) to clash with the Badgers in a 4A Region 4 District 29 test on Friday, January 31. The Badgers come into the test with a record of 1-1.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop for a 4A Region 4 District 29 test on Tuesday, January 28. Calallen will clash with a Badgers team coming off a 4-1 league win over King (Kingsville, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 1-1.
