California High School Soccer - Sutter nudges Destiny Christian Academy

The Sutter Huskies soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Destiny Christian Academy Lions to 1 in the Huskies league victory on Friday.

The Huskies now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Natomas for a Golden Empire League bout on Monday, January 27. Sutter will play a Nighthawks squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Dixon (Dixon, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Destiny Christian Academy moves to 3-9 on the year. The Lions travel to Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA) to play the Knights in a Golden Empire League bout on Monday, January 27. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Rio Linda won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Live Oak (Live Oak, CA)
