Fans at Friday's league battle between the El Dorado Cougars (Placerville, CA) and the visiting Rosemont Wolverines (Sacramento, CA), saw El Dorado's soccer squad knock off Rosemont by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA). The Hawks enter the Sierra Valley Conference battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Liberty Ranch tipped Amador (Sutter Creek, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Wolverines battle the Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA) in a Sierra Valley Conference battle, on Wednesday, January 29. Rosemont will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Buffaloes enter the battle with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA).
