Fans at Friday's league battle between the Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) and the host MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX), saw Southwest's soccer squad triumph over MacArthur by a score of 8-1.

The Dragons (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Harlandale (San Antonio, TX). The Indians enter the 5A Region 4 District 28 battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Harlandale tipped McCollum (San Antonio, TX), 4-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Brahmas confront the Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region 4 District 28 battle, on Tuesday, January 28. MacArthur will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 7-1 league win over South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX).
