Fans at Friday's league battle between the Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA) and the visiting Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA), saw Woodbridge's soccer squad knock off Portola by a count of 4-1.

The Warriors (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA). The Breakers enter the Pacific Coast battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Laguna Beach tipped Northwood (Irvine, CA), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA) in a Pacific Coast battle, on Monday, January 27. Portola will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Lightning enter the battle with a 1-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA).
