Minnesota High School Basketball - Benson ripped by Sauk Centre

The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Benson to 27 in the Mainstreeters non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mainstreeters now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minnewaska Area for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 27. Sauk Centre will battle a Lakers team coming off a 65-30 league loss to Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 1-11.
The (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Swanville (Swanville, MN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Swanville triumphed over St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN), 78-60, in a league contest.
