The Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Sleepy Eye Indians to 46 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield for a A Section 2 contest on Friday, January 28. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will meet a Tigers team coming off a 87-69 league win over Wabasso (Wabasso, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 13-3.

The Indians (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Mountain (Morgan, MN). The Cougars enter the A Section 2 contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Cedar Mountain was routed by Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda (Okabena, MN), 74-52, in a non-league contest.
