The Giles County Bobcats basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers to 38 in the Bobcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Bobcats now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 29. Giles County will battle a Rebels team coming off a 55-47 league win over Warren County (McMinnville, TN). The Rebels record now stands at 13-8.
The Tigers (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis County (Hohenwald, TN). The Panthers come into the 2A District 10 contest with a 4-8 record.
