The Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS), 77-38 in Tuesday's league test.
The Jaguars (16-8) will now prepare for their test against Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS). The Titans go into the 5A Region 3 test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, Ridgeland walloped Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS), 57-53, in a league test.
The Rockets now own a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Bay Springs for a non-league test on Thursday, January 27. Neshoba Central will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 70-55 league win over Mississippi School for the Deaf (Jackson, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-2.
