The James Island Trojans basketball team scored 58 points and held the host May River Sharks to 49 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beaufort for a AAAA Region 7 contest on Friday, January 28. James Island will battle a Eagles team coming off a 42-40 league win over Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 9-4.

The Sharks (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Bobcats enter the AAAA Region 7 contest with a 4-11 record.
