    The Westfield Mustangs basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Nimitz Cougars to 54 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

    The Mustangs now sport a 22-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to MacArthur for a 6A Region II District 14 contest on Friday, January 28. Westfield will battle a Generals team coming off a 69-45 league loss to Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Generals record now stands at 9-14.

    The Cougars (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the 6A Region II District 14 contest with a 11-14 record. In their last contest, Eisenhower was routed by Spring (Spring, TX), 59-58, in a league contest.
