The Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI) basketball knocked off the host South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI), 57-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Knights (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Warriors go into the Lakes Valley test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Walled Lake Western notched a victory over Kettering (Waterford, MI), 59-41, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Kettering for a Lakes Valley test on Friday, January 28. South Lyon will encounter a Captains squad coming off a 59-41 league loss to Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Captains record now stands at 0-9.
